History: Altitude, formerly Mile High Club, was formed as a World of Warcraft guild in September, 2008. The goal was to game with players locally to Colorado while having the chance to meetup locally for things away from the computer, or sometimes at the computer just somewhere else. Leadership has changed hands many times throughout the guild, and eventually the meetup groups history but the attitude always remains the same. There is always a helping hand, or an eager participant. Meetups: W …
All ages are welcome, but you'll have to be over-40 to remember the original Rogue ASCII RPG that morphed into Hack, Nethack, Slash'em, Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, ADOM, Angband, and the most recent (and colorful) Brogue. In this meetup you'll be thrilled to talk about how the great grandaddies on the 1970's multi-user PLATO system such as Moria, DND, Oubliette, Avatar, Emprise, and Camelot spawned Wizardry and Ultima on the Apple-II, and later the PC, and were the ancestors of today's MMORPG's Ev …
This group is for anyone interested in playing League of Legends in the Colorado Springs area. Right now (at the outset of this group) I want to focus on just playing online with other citizens of Colorado Springs, once we build up a community and friendships then maybe move on to LAN parties and tournaments or just hanging out in real life. Anyone can initiate a meetup. Please post your username and use the forum to communicate. Party on Gamers!
